Community Lead

Starting January 2025

Benny is on a mission to ensure what’s fuelling us now serves us for a lifetime. We’re making this happen with our Benny energy drinks - they’re nourishing energy without the nasties. Benny’s growing extremely quickly, with national launches and major brand partnerships around the corner, we are looking for two Community Leads to help us continue to grow our brand.

Based in Toronto or Vancouver the Community Lead will work closely with the Benny team, reporting directly to the founders. This is a part-time role (~5 hours per week). With support from our team, you’ll be leading our in-person Friends With Benny events, and connecting Benny with your local community.

🤝 We’ll be counting on you to:

• Manage monthly Friends With Benny events end to end, from ideation to execution
• Source and create aligned partnerships with local brands and community members

🕺 This role is great fit if:

• You’ve managed events - you’re the go-to host of your friend group, always planning the next big dinner party
• You can be in-person based in Toronto or Vancouver during specified dates
• You’re highly organized and can own attention to detail within a fast, paced, ever-changing, ambiguous startup environment - we’re looking for a self starter to roll up their sleeves and grow the brand with us
• You’re creative - you get lit up by the idea of pushing boundaries and bringing bold/never-been-done ideas to the table
• You are a brand nerd like us
• You’re a people-person - we’re counting on you to make a great first impression both IRL at trade shows and demos and online
